RFP- WIA Youth Program

The Southwest Virginia Workforce Investment Board (LWIB) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors wishing to apply for federal funding available to the area for the delivery of youth services as authorized under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998.  Local Workforce Investment Area One encompasses the City of Norton and the counties of Buchanan, Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Tazewell, and Wise. The overall goal for the provision of funds under this procurement is to assist economically disadvantaged, at-risk youth ages 16-21 in achieving significant educational attainment, skill development and/or employment success.
